Guest Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 My head has insisted we use the same reports for SEN children as other children (I use one for rec which I have adapted from forrmat of rest of school ones to address areas of learning). AnonyMouse_13453 Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 could you use the same general headings and just write a bit from each area of learning that the child has particularly enjoyed - been particularly good at. In my experience, parents of SEN children see so many negative reports about their child (as there needs to be to get funding support) that a positive statement about what is great about the child can work wonders! Guest Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I've always using the same report headings for SEN children as other children in the class. Lots of "enjoys..." and "is developing...".
