Nothing Goes In His Mouth

Just a little update for you.

This week his mum sent little sandwiches, biscuits and pieces of fruit for his lunch. He fed himself every last piece!

He still finds it a challenge to manipulate the food into his mouth and struggles to hold it and bite at the same time. However, I'm sure that's just because he has missed out on almost a year of practising those actions and he will soon sort them out.

He still won't really do it at home and we still have to hold his cup for him but his mum is following my lead and we'll get there.

The best bit is that this week he has started to explore toys with his mouth too. I had to extract a piece of sticklebrick on Friday!

I just wanted to say thankyou for all of the replies and support you gave me and let you know that it was all positive in the end.
