AnonyMouse_3139
Hi, this months Practical Pre-school publication has an article from the Information Commissioners Office concerning the taking of photo's at school events. It says 'Photo's taken for personal use are exempt from the Data protection Act. This means that parents, friends and family members can take photo's of children taking part in school activities for the family album and can film events at school.' I know some of us have child protection issues to think about but I thought it might be handy to be aware that at least so far as data protection is concerned there isn't a problem. This site has also received a mention as ..'a great place to get informed answers to all your questions on professional development'. And I'm not going to argue with that
