AnonyMouse_15046
Hi everyone, I have been asked to write a missing child policy so I've had a go and uploaded it. Missing_Child_Policy.doc I would love it if someone could have a look at it and tell me if I have missed anything vital, etc. Thanks in advance. Guest
Looks good to me - mine is very simple and was in my policies and procedures at my last Ofsted (when I got outstanding) Lost Child In the unlikely event of a child becoming lost while in my care I would immediately instigate the following procedures: * contact the parents * contact the police * instigate a search of the immediate area * contact any local point of assistance e.g. lost child office, security desk * all other children will remain with me at all times, until a known adult arrives * on trips and visits to unfamiliar and/or crowded places the children wear wristbands printed with my mobile telephone number in case we become separated Hope that helps.
