Guest
Hi Just wanted to share our success with risky play to give hope to everyone out there if you are afraid to let children take risk. With such a risk averse society it`s hard to let children take risks such as climbing trees because, as practitioners, if somethiing goes wrong the responsability is ultimitely ours. However we have a small private woodland literally a few steps outside our front door. We access this regularly and as a result the children are apt at tree climbing. Recently we have had a very succesful bonfire. Have a look for yourselfs here http://footstepspreschool.co.uk/ at our website. Sally
