Guest Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Hi everyone, A staffing ratio question. Is it legal to have a teacher and NNEB covering 40 reception/F1 children? I don't think it is but just wanted to check.... Many thanks
Guest Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Don't think so, someone will be along in a minute with a more accurate response. But I just wanted to say, even if it was legal it would be madness!! We (pre school) get in 4 staff if there are more than 15 children on any day, at least 3 no matter how few children.

Guest Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 last year we had 35 year r and had a teacher and 2 TAs. I think you need another adult.
AnonyMouse_4869 Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I thought you had to have more than one QTS if more than 30 reception children?
