Guest
How does your setting word 'failing to pay fees may result in your child losing their place' in your policy (if you do such a thing)? ppp
AnonyMouse_22106
"Failure to pay fees within 2 weeks of fee slips being issued, could result in your child losing their place in playgroup" We say it but to be honest have never followed it through - although we do have plenty of late payers! AnonyMouse_19762
Hi ppp I don't have a policy per se but this is taken from my prospectus: Fees - The fees are xxxx per hour payable half-termly in advance. Fees must still be paid if children are absent. For your child to keep her/his place at at the setting, you must pay the fees. We are in receipt of Nursery Education Funding for three and four year olds; where funding is not received, then fees apply. Hmmm....not very friendly is it........but then I make little enough money as it is....so a 'no nonsense' approach is needed!
Guest
Our wording is very similar to Sunnyday.
Guest
Can you say something to the effect of "prompt fees ensures your child's place. Failure to pay means the place may be offered to another child..."
