New To Nursery- Planning & Activity Help Please

I am new to Nursery (and also this forum ) I have previous years planning to use "as a safety net" say SMT but I need to take ownership of it; problem is I don't really know where to start- do I plan activities and then see what DMs/Stepping stones fit into it? Am I using the EYFS or DM's to plan/assess from?

I am getting very confused and don't feel like any of the Early Years team can help really.

You have come to the right place to share ideas and you will soon discover that planning is always a big issue, and something that people are continually tweeking as they go along. You may find reading this thread useful. I'm also sure that people will soon come along to give you ideas.
