AnonyMouse_11485
We're reading Pumpkin Soup lots at the moment and I wanted to think a bit more about working together, teamwork and cooperation. I wondered if anyone had any good ideas for games that need children to work together, especially games that would make good use of a large space like the hall - maybe parachute games? AnonyMouse_19782
We play with the parachute at least once per week. the children have to work together to keep a large bumpy ball on the parachute as we roll it around the edge - we also put teddies etc. in the middle and the children take it in turns to give a number to count up to or down from and then all lift the parachute at the same time and see if they can get teddy to reach the ceiling. Early on in the term its like laying eggs, but as the children get more accomplished and understand what is needed from them, we have a great time. AnonyMouse_15046
Building an igloo out of cardboard boxes, in fact any sort of den building where they have to hold things up for each other.
