Guest
Hi All, I'm being observed after half term with the focus of the observation being science based. Our theme will be fireworks and bonfire night and, obviously, I want to do something all singing, all dancing....any ideas???

AnonyMouse_7120
'rainbow milk' would be a nice easy experiment..........shallow tray with milk in, add a drop of food colouring (diff colours) in each corner, then a small squeeze of washing up liquid on top od each colour(cheaper washing up liquid seems to work better) the colours then seem to explode (like fireworks) into each other.......our pre-schoolers love it, you can leave it over time to watch what happens or as we usually do is give ours sticks/straws to finish off the mixing. hope this helps
