Guest Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Help me, Im really stuck. does anyone have any good lyrics, all the ones i come up with dont fit!
AnonyMouse_15046 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Our village pre-school uses these words to 'here we go round the mulberry bush' for their nativity. Here we go up to Bethlehem, Bethlehem, Bethelehem. Here we go up to Bethlehem on a cold and frosty morning. Then they change it to Jesus was born in Bethlehem..... Shepherds came to Bethlehem..... Three Kings came to Bethlehem..... I'm not sure that the cold and frosty morning bit works considering the location but you could always change that.
AnonyMouse_19782 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 To the tune of London Bridge is falling down See the star up in the sky in the sky, in the sky, See the star up in the sky It leads to baby Jesus Wise men travelled from afar, from afar, from afar, Wise men travelled from afar, to see the baby Jesus Shepherds came and worshipped him worshipped him, worshipped him Shepherds came and worshipped him at the feet of Jesus

Guest Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 After posting something a few weeks back asking for nativity words to Twinkle Twinkle - have come up with a mis-mash of them all which we feel are easier and tells the story pretty well. Twinkle, twinkle little star Twinkle, twinkle little star How I wonder what you are? God sent you to show the way To the place where Jesus lay Twinkle twinkle little star How I wonder what you are? In a stable He was born on that special Christmas morn Angels came to visit him Baby Jesus, new-born king In a stable He was born on that special Christmas morn Angels let the shepherds know Why your light was shining so They were guided by the light in the darkness of the night Angels let the shepherds know Why your light was shining so Then you guided the three kings They bought Jesus special things Myrrh and frankincense and gold For the baby boy to hold Then you guided the three kings They bought Jesus special things Twinkle twinkle little star shining brightly from afar up above the cattle stall bringing good news to us all Twinkle twinkle little star shine for ever where we are

Guest Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I love all those, how inspiring! One our children love is: When Santa got stuck up the chimney, he began to shout: 'You girls and boys won't get any toys if you don't pull me out! My beard is black, there's soot in my sack, my nose is tickely, too.' When Santa got stuck up the chimney. Achoo, achoo, achoo! sorry, don't know where melody is from, but you could just make it up... x Titania
