Assembly About Forgiveness - Please Help!

Was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about a story based on forgiveness for an assembly? Ive been told at such short notice - I need it for Monday. Any ideas would be great - I have no idea!

Not sure if this one will be any good, but it's called I'll Always Love You by Paeony Lewis. Alex Bear has broken his mother's favourite honey bowl. He didn't mean to - but he knows she'll be mad. Will she be mad enough not to love him anymore? "Will you only love me if I'm good?" he asks her. I'll always love you she replies, but Alex isn't convinced.

 

It's quite charming, and Alex bear asks mummy all sorts of questions to test her love for him - there aren't any words used like forgive, forgiven, forgiveness though.
