AnonyMouse_13453 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Makes sense to me! Just looked back at the forum list and wonder whether turning the titles round a bit would be better - don't know if it's the same on everyone's screen of course, but mine has "Observation, Assessment (or whatever) followed by "Nursery .... then the rest of it is lost. Would it be beneficial to have the group at the start, so it's " Nursery Observation, Assessment .... " and "Reception and Yr1 Observation ..." ? Edited November 23, 2009 by Cait
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 No - forget that, looked again and Reception has it at the front already, so it's more obvious than I thought! Sorry!!!
Helen Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 You have no idea how long I spent thinking about that one! "Reception Observation, etc" is OK, but I couldn't put "Nursery Observation, etc" because that section is also for playgroups, CCs and CMs! Didn't think I could do a separate one for each of those, so I've settled for "Obs, Ass and Planning for Pre-school aged children" and hope everyone knows it's for everyone who isn't in reception! Still not entirely happy but it's the best I can do for the moment
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Yes, it's not easy without offending someone! "First EYFS" isn't necessarily accurate, nor is Pre-Reception! tricky one!
AnonyMouse_11548 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 i suspect i'm not looking very carefully but where have the NVQ and foundation degree areas gone?
AnonyMouse_1195 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Non Setting Based Issues ... and then scroll down to Training and Professional Development.

Guest jenpercy Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 It is still very difficult for me to discover what I would be interested in as a Kids club for 4 year olds an upwards. I know I haven't had much response to my call for a separate forum -but I wonder if more Kids club providers would stay/join if there was one. I am continually opening posts and finding that it is all too technical for the level of EYFS provision that I HOPE the inspector wants from us
Helen Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Hi Jen, Many thanks for your feedback. We have now provided a new forum for Kids Clubs, and you'll find it under the childminders' forum if you scroll down the forum index.
