Confused Dot Com- Schemas!

Recommended Posts

Hi

...no I haven't got a circular schema before you ask (hee hee)!

I researching schemas (to prepare a handout for use in 0-5yr settings). I have found a number of them but am getting bogged down by the variety of names and I'm sure I'm confusing some with others.

I have listed these:

• Dynamic horizontal/vertical (also known as trajectory)

• Dynamic circular (also known as rotation)

• Enveloping

• Enclosure/containing (also known as going round a boundary)

• Transporting

• Circularity

• Connection

• Positioning

• Transforming

am I correct?

Hi there,

I have a list in Tina Bruce's book Childcare and Development. Do you have that or shall I scan and copy the two pages to you? I also have a letter that I used to send out to parents, would you like a copy?
