AnonyMouse_1490 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Any tips for starting to do this. Have downloaded it all nightmare!!! 130 pages worth. I have quickly looked at it and am thinking OMG where o I start
AnonyMouse_1027 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 i just started at the beginning with my team - we would look through a couple of pages at a time at meetings and decide if we did / or how we could improve
AnonyMouse_1490 Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Oh I see, thanks Hali. The EY advisor was sooooooo grumpy when she came.
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 It's really not so bad if you break it down - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you already do! Your advisor will see on your agenda that it's something you are tackling on a regular basis! I gave my staff a bit each, prior to each meeting so we could discuss it at the meeting
AnonyMouse_1490 Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Yes you are right Cait on looking at it again this morning I can see I am already doing most of it so do I just write down how I am doing it or just put Yes. Its just the EY made it sound so difficult instead of saying just saying what you and Hali have said. Its great this forum where i can come on here and get help straighyaway because I won't see the advisor again till next April so I didn't want to plod on doing it all wrong. Thanks again
AnonyMouse_8623 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I came across the Index for Inclusion as part of one of my OU courses and though it was a great tool for improving practice. I just wondered if you all had been advised to study this or is it just something you are doing yourselves.
AnonyMouse_1490 Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 It is now compulsory for all the groups in our area
AnonyMouse_12805 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Must vary from region to region then as I have never heard of this. Mind you could be something that has gone in one ear and out the other!! But it certainly isn't something we are being advisd to do. Where could I have a look at this please?
