AnonyMouse_19782
Yes, I hear thunder! We sang it at least 5 times this morning, and the children can take it in turns to be the sun - they seem to immediately sense the "power" that the sun holds! We do get some very comical melting snowmen, it has been a great favourite for many years. We have headbands with snowman pictures cut out from christmas cards on and a big yellow sun made from card. Guest LornaW
As I am working with lots of practitioners visiting the woods regularly we are singing this to the tune of Teddy Bear's Picnic When we go down to the woods today there’s going to be lots to do When we go down to the woods today we’re sure to learn something new For everyone that goes there today Will run, and jump and climb in their play so we must all make sure we’re dressed in the right clothes When we go down to the woods today there’s going to be lots to do When we go down to the woods today we’re sure to learn something new Beneath the trees where nobody sees We’ll hide and seek as long as we please So we must all make sure we’re dressed in the right clothes As we want to make sure all children come suitably dressed for the outdoors!!!! Guest
Hmmm, that's a good one LornaW. It would be easy to adapt wouldn't it, swapping 'down in the woods' for whatever (if you see what I mean!) When we play outside today there’s going to be lots to do When we play outside today we’re sure to learn something new For everyone that goes there today Will run, and jump and climb in their play so we must all make sure we’re dressed in the right clothes When we play outside today there’s going to be lots to do When we play outside today we’re sure to learn something new Beneath the trees where nobody sees We’ll hide and seek as long as we please So we must all make sure we’re dressed in the right clothes Oh, go on! You know what I mean.... thanks for sharing!
