AnonyMouse_64
Happy Birthday diane! Now that you've reached half a century does that mean you'll become old and crotchety. I wonder how many of those years has been spent in the loo. Always look out for your book in the shop but haven't spotted it yet. Have a lovely birthday. Guest
Goodness .... and gracious .... and thanks everybody. Let me tell you: 50 is like 49, 48, 47, 46, 45............20-something (that's how I feel). I had a really great day (there's a new thread that says so) - British Museum and other bits! All I can say is "a big thank you" Diane (aka Cecil)
Guest
Post script: A good few years ago, my littlest one got of the school bus excitedly saying "You are older than Mrs. [headteacher]". My reply was along the lines of "Surely, I am not". Little one came out with "You were 21 again a couple of weeks ago, and Mrs. [Headteacher] is 21 again today". Just for the record, Mrs. [Headteacher] retired in July. I then suspected that my little one was wrong! Diane.
