Guest
Hi all I recently posted asking children thier opinions on how to get children into my KUW area. I have decided to buy table top sand and water trays to open up the space more and add three small tents with resources inside to investigate. I have just been told I have £1000 to spend on resources and wondered if anyone could suggest or tell me what they have? On looking through catalogues there does not seem to be much in the way of KUW stuff!! Look forward to hearing what you all have. Thanks Edited February 17, 2010 by Guest
AnonyMouse_8466
I really like the Designs for Education stuff - saw them at the Nursery World Show a few weeks ago. They had a fabulous outdoor exploration table for £300 and lots of other bits and bobs. I just tried to put up a link to their website but Firefox is telling me it isn't safe. Their address is www.designsforeducation.co.uk - you could see whether your internet browswer likes their site! Maz
Guest
Reflections on Learning have lots of nice stuff. I got a wigwam from there recently and some chunky wooden construction vehicles - not specifically kuw but they are great!

Guest
We've just had an amount of money to spend on outside and lots of it we used for KUW-umbrellas, raincapes, binoculars, large chunky magnifying glasses, microscope, torches, colour paddles, kalidoscopes, bug catching equipment, bug house, sack of logs to make a log pile, hosepipe, water casade drain pipes and stands, safety mirrors, natural sponges, corks, pebbles, shell collection, mighty magnets and a set of trays sorted in a filing type box with a trays for specific topics (TTS but I can't find it on the website) and more... and we still didn't get everthing we wanted
