Guest
I have asked this before but has anyone got a cctv policy for nursery? I cannot find a policy anywhere. The recordings are kept for no more than 30 days and are in all playrooms. I have been asked by a parent to see it. We have a checklist. Is this sufficient? AnonyMouse_3139
What are they used for? Who has access to the screenings? Why are they deemed necessary? I suppose thats what should be in your policy. I worked at a nursery who had recently had a new manager, one of the first things she did was to remove all the cameras, she said if she couldnt trust the staff to that extent there was no point them being there. Guest
I would feel most uncomfortable with cctv in rooms, Do children who are not this parents protected from being seen by this parent. Does he have a right under data protection to see and how are the others protected by data protection?
