what curent legislation and government initiatives apply when supporting a reception aged boy who has witnessed domestic violence? how will they support the family and setting? have mentioned children act 1989/2004, safeguarding,, UN convention, eyfs but cant seem to say how they support family and setting n the right context xD in desperate need of help. I have manage to waffle to the extent of 1,200 words

I'm not sure that you do use a CAF for any kind of abuse - in my training we were told not to as you follows your local board's procedures.

This would be a Section 17 safeguarding referral, I think? Like others have said, check your Local Safegaurding Board referral procedures - there should be some info on the legislation there.
