Guest Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I wonder if anyone has any good ideas - I want to make tiles with flowers on them as part of the growth theme. However we do not have any clay in school - has anyone got any good ideas or recipes for a clay substitute? The flower needs to be attached to the tile, which can be done with water when working with clay. Thanks
Guest Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Hi! I can't help with the lack of clay - but i can tell you that we did the same activity last year - using plain white bathroom tiles, and when the clay dried, the pieces fell off! It was a bit of a pain - but we copydexed all the pieces back on and they looked great when painted with acrylic and varnished - worth the hassle! Sara
