AnonyMouse_19920
hi to those of you who replied about little girl whos baby had died in womb. many thanks for all the replies - the little girl came in yesterday - she was fine - made a card for daddy "because he was sad for his baby boy his son who died" she said spoke to nan who gave me all the deatils - very sad - she cried i gave her a hug and cried a few tears too. mum wont be around for a while - she cant face anyone at the moment and cant go out for fear of seeing a baby as knows she wont cope - nan said. i asked her to send my love and say i was thinking of them all. so at least the first bit is over. many thanks to you all for your words of help - i knew i would know what to say - if you know what i mean - but just wanted that reassurance x

Guest
Well done, Blondie! The first meeting in a situation like this is often the worst, and now Nan and grandaughter know they have a warm welcome, a friendly ear and a hug when needed. Guest Spiral
Well done blondie. It's just so daunting having to meet and talk about the unknown. I really do feel for the whole family, it's just so hard to imagine and it does affect everyone around them - including yourselves. You've done a fantastic thing broaching the subject and helping the little girl through the door. Spiral x
AnonyMouse_8466
Well done blondie. The first contact is always the worst - now that grandma has confided in you she'll have widened the number of people she can talk to about her feelings and who she can have a little cry with when necessary. I'll bet the family are glad to have your support. Maz
