Am considering selling my pre-school which runs during term time from 9-12. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about estimating the value for it? Thank you

Get a good accountant who will be able to look at your books and give you a valuation. Also, talk to Business Link who will provide very good advice too.

Yes I know someone who has expressed an interest in wanting their own setting.

you could advertise in nursery world but I think it might cost a bit !! unsworth

You could have a look at nursery world though - there are people who specialise in selling childcare groups. Not sure how viable it is for a sessional pre-school though, but would be worth a chat!

Try La Salle & Company specialist Business Sales. They came and gave me an evaluation also a company called Redwoods 01204 467176 are business Estate agents. They have nothing to do with me but both seem nice people and very helpfull. good luck
