Guest
Can anyone help me by remembering the old stepping stones and how they relate to the current 9 elgs. I am at a special school where we actually use b squared and P scales for our assessments but on the parental reports we give an EYFS lvel and a reception child I have has been given 'yellow' , 'green' or blue for his levels last year and I am trying to work out if he has progressed. I will just give the number of scale points he has acheived. Can you help? Thanks, Catriona
AnonyMouse_79
Yellow, green and blue were the stepping stones and would relate to the 9 points on the profile as points 1,2 and 3. The other profile points are the ELGs. There were far more stepping stones than there were profile points on each scale and likewise not every ELG is represented either. Hope that helps a bit.
