Hi

Mel C here again.

I do have an interview for EYFS manager next week.

I have to prep a 10min presentation entitled 'your vision for leading the Foundation Stage at xxx in the short, medium and long term'

I am trying to clear all the mush and whizziness in my head. PLease can you offer me help and advice please.

Thank you

Mel C

How exciting, best of luck.

I would research the setting and look at their strengths to build on and their areas for development. It needs to be about them as well as you, no?

Yes I totally agree: this is how far I have got -

I am aiming to outline my approach to building a team, action planning and my approach to achieving how I would want the FS to look in 12 months. The middle bit is quite mushy - I have listed areas for development, all of which I believe need to begin in some form asap but how long it will take until we reach our vision or how quickly depends on the strengths and weaknesses of the team and also outside influences, new directives, how it fits with the whole school vision, hw what we do may be different but needs to lead/dovetail into school polcy

I think it is as much about areas for development as it is about how I am going to lead the team along the journey to the vision.

Thank you all

Mel C
