AnonyMouse_8466 Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 I don't have one either - managing the 'risks' associated with having volunteers in the setting should be covered under safeguarding, induction, health and safety procedures and so on. Guest jenpercy Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 we have a volunteer policy, which apparently has to cover equal ops, although I thought that you took whoever comes along without worrying about ethnicity etc, welcoming them to staff meetins, not allowing them to be with children unsupervised, not using them as part of ratio, but risk assessment is just part of all the others as stated above Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
