Our Preschool is on an A road and we've no off-road parking. Unfortunately we're fairly near a junction too, so find it better for parents to park on the opposite side of the road - its NOT ideal and I dislike it intensely but there doesn't seem to be any way around it unless we win the lottery and buy the building next door and knock it down for a car park!

Joking aside, parking seems to be becoming more and more of an issue, especially in our rural area when children may live 6 or 7 miles away so have to come by car

It's not where I work but I live in a residential road where there is a daycare nursery at the end of my road. It's situated on both sides of the road in 3 houses right on the corner (2 on one side and obne on the other) You can park (just) 2 cars on their drives But parking for us as residents is an absolute nightmare. To the point where police have been called sometimes to keep order (rows between residents and parents). The problem is when they drop off and park in the middle of the road and run straight in leaving the car. Usually a man!
