AnonyMouse_1195 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Well here I am making chocolate pladough again running up to Easter and the house smell gorgeous! I got the idea from you lot last year. Thanks. Quote
AnonyMouse_2760 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Sounds lovely - do you use chocolate flavouring/essence? or cocoa powder, what about the colour? I would love it if you would forward me the recipe. I am always struggling for ideas to make playdough a bit more exciting. Quote
Guest Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 The recipe is in the forum somewhere - have you tried the search facility? If I remember rightly I think you replace a quarter of the flour with cocoa powder... Quote
Guest Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Here's the conversation we had this time last year about chocolate dough and other ideas!! Can't believe it was 12 months ago!!!! Linda Quote

Guest Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Slightly off chocolate, Does your playdough dry out quickly and crumble?? Ours does, especially the non cook recipe. Well, we spent all day today "moisturising" the dough. We quickly made salt dough ( non cook), we then had a small ball each, we poured suncream lotion into the ball ( found a box full left from last summer in the cupboard), the children spent all day returning to the dough table to "Kneed" the lotion in. The dough became very silky and I hope will not be dry and crumbly tomorrow, it also smelt very nice and was a very sensory, if not relaxing, sensual experience, like a day long hand massage mmmmm. AnonyMouse_2760 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 i tend to only make the cooked version as that seems to be longer lasting Quote
