Guest
We are doing a whole school theme for Refugee Week in a couple of weeks. This seems a very hard concept for my little ones. Anybody done this before or can help in anyway? I'm thinking of linking it with water - lack of it, too much of it etc A bit stuck for ideas though at the moment. Can anyone help? AnonyMouse_3307
I would suggest looking at the basic concept of having to leave your home. You could approach this from a PSED curriculum angle - Self confidence and self esteem/sense of community. understanding the emotions involved in having to move when you don't want to would be a good starting point for young children to build on.
