Hi im new and ive searched through and cant seem to find what im after, im currently studying my nvq3 and im a little bit stuck on unit 005, i have serveral of the bullet points but just getting really stuck on a few they are:

Task A. You have been asked to plan for the care and learning of three children from a family new to your child care setting. An initial meeting has been arranged for them to look around and gain useful information about the service your child care environment provides. You are asked to prepare the information for the meeting, first decide what ages you want the three children to be based on your experience in your setting. Produce a written account which identifies:

• Why it is important to work in partnership with parents/carers, other professionals and agencies

• How the routines and activities planned to value and celebrate the individuality, difference and diversity

• How you will develop and maintain an effective relationship with the parents/carers, other professionals and agencies

If anyone could help me id really appreciate it :o)

ive managed to do these by crawling through the internet but now just need to complete the last bullet point

• How and why you reflect on your own practice and that of your organisation to improve the quality of the service

any ideas guys? x

I suppose if you put in something about reviewing how the children have settled and possibly asking for feedback from the parents as to what was useful and if there were other things they would have liked to do , that would cover it ? Maybe considering drafting an action plan for improvements/changes to the settling in process ? Or maybe a 'discussion' with your supervisor on how they felt you handled the visit/fact finding - that would cover reflection also . :o
