Not There Yet But........

Hi all.

In two weeks time I have to hand in my research project to (almost) complete my foundation degree.

My question to those in the know please is how did you present your project?

I usually use A4 plastic wallets inside a coloured plastic type outer for assignments but feel there will be too many pages for this not to rip straight through the holes of the pouches..........

I was thinking about comb binding.............. never done it before though!!

Are there places that do it for you??

Help and ideas gratefully received!!!

Thank you :o

Hi, when I did mine, I had to comply with what the Uni requested. I should check what yours requires. Good Luck

Staples do comb binding, ages ago I asked my hubby to get an assignment comb bound for me. When he came home with the assignment I decided to check it and found page 2 missing. Luckily I checked it otherwise I probably would have got a referral. After that I invested in my own binder and it's been well worth it. Some universities also offer a comb binding service for a small charge.

There were no specific instructions as to how the FD research project had to be presented so it looks as though comb binding is the way forward!!

Thank you for your thoughts on the matter!!

I better get on and do the work now then!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes your uni will stipulate how they want work presented. For Dissertations we had to have them spiral bound, there was a room at college that specialised in that. During my BTEC we were not allowed to use plastic wallets we had to use those plastic folders that was so they could make them without having to remove each indivdual page. We were also not allowed to do colourful title pages as it was seen as childish and you would be refered for that.
