Guest Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 I heard you can make a lovely and waterproof mural by waeving with plastic bags. Has anyone tried?
Guest Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Try using "string" vegetable bags from the greengrocers as your weaving frame - they're very weather proof as they're plasticised in some way.
Guest Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 I have heard that you can also crochet with them as well. Slit the base to make a tube then cut round and round about an inch wide to make a continuous length that can be rolled up into a ball.
AnonyMouse_73 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 we use chicken wire, or equivalant form garden centres. You just have to make sure you remove, or cover any shapr edsges roll it up, or use it for fencing and away you go. children love it.
