Religious Education

Hi,

 

I am due to be subject manager of Religious Education this year and I want to develop the cross curricular links with ICT and other subjects. I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas or whether anyone used any really good websites that I could take a look at. They can be aimed at any age as I will be in charge of the subject from Reception to Year 6.

Its not the most glamourous website, but I have used http://www.topicbox.net/ in the past for links to different pictures and information for different religions and festivals.

As RE is a big part of history, geography, art, music, etc and therefore the culture of different peoples, it can be very interesting I think.

For RE in Reception and Year 1 we use a lot of video clips and activities on the dottie and buzz website.
