Guest Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Hi, I am due to be subject manager of Religious Education this year and I want to develop the cross curricular links with ICT and other subjects. I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas or whether anyone used any really good websites that I could take a look at. They can be aimed at any age as I will be in charge of the subject from Reception to Year 6. Thanks
Guest Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Its not the most glamourous website, but I have used http://www.topicbox.net/ in the past for links to different pictures and information for different religions and festivals.
AnonyMouse_1195 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 As RE is a big part of history, geography, art, music, etc and therefore the culture of different peoples, it can be very interesting I think. Here are a few sites but they are not very cross-curricula. http://www.reonline.org.uk/ which is on the Culham site http://www.re-net.ac.uk/ http://www.livingoutfaith.org.uk/index.php...x&viewCat=1 http://www.natre.org.uk/ http://www.celebratingre.org.uk/ http://betterre.reonline.org.uk/assessment..._tables_fs.html http://www.barnabasinschools.org.uk/
Guest Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I have used this one in the past but it seems to be more complcated now, still have a look if you wish http://www.topmarks.co.uk/Interactive.aspx?cat=110
Guest Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 For RE in Reception and Year 1 we use a lot of video clips and activities on the dottie and buzz website.
