Guest Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Hello all. Can you help please? I am busy writing a piece for my early years profile folder (part of my degree course) and I am writing about those special books that we practitioners use....... we call ours the learning journey books and the children call them their special books..... The ones with photos, post its, etc in them. Can anyone point me in the direction of a book to grab a quote or two from, about the importance of these please? Thank you in advance for any help!!

AnonyMouse_11396 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 How about googling learning journals and there intentions. Went on a site called Infed see what you think, maybe completely wrong but found it interesting anyway and you maybe able to draw items from it. Happy hunting and good luck with your course

Guest Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Hi, how about refering to the EYFS statutory guidence - haven't got mine to hand at the moment but section under keyperson refers to the requirement to have such 'learning journeys'. Hope this helps!
