AnonyMouse_4283
I have an interview on the 23rd on November for the GTP program. As part of that interview I will be required to discuss and debate current issues facing teaching in the 21 st century.I have given this some thought and have thought of a couple of issues myself such as budget cuts and safeguarding. I would be grateful for some other ideas and input from you all. Has anyone looked into this before? What would you say are the current issues facing education? I am confident debating the issues in the early years but have no experience in other year groups, so I would be grateful if you could share yours. Thank you in anticipation. AnonyMouse_18183
Something in the media recently was the number of children on the SEN register. Good luck with your interview. I'm currently training to be a teacher on the GTP programme, hard work but enjoying it lots.
Guest
The use of ICT I think is the biggest challenge facing the profession. What is the role of the teacher in the 21st century when so much technology is in use?
