Guest Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Has anyone planned anything which has gone really well? We have planned a frozen teddy to be found in the garden, some golden eggs, a sackful of presents and some big footprints. We would love some fresh ideas.
AnonyMouse_11396 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Hi we had miniature dinosaur bones in a sand and plaster of paris mix, and the children became excavators. This was an extension of bones in our bodies, looking at a life size skeleton called Fred who came to visit us and then led on to dinosaurs and bones. Great fun.
AnonyMouse_8466 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Once Teddy is unfrozen, perhaps you could stick him up a tree and invite the children to decide how to get him down. A colleague did this with our children and it was really successful - especially as the youngest, least confident child in the setting was the one who worked out how best to get him down! Maz
