Guest Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 Hi everyone! Can anyone help me please?? I have just managed to get a job in a reception class in a three form entry school. This is my first job as an NQT and I love it. The team at school- both children and staff are an absolute delight. However, their planning is so structured and there is no evidence of planning for the children's interests. I want to turn this around but dont know where to begin. Should reception have long, medium and short term plans and if so, what should they look like if we are to think about personal learning for each child?? Does anyone have any plans that they could share with me that have worked for them? The other big question is how can we personalise learning for 30 children??
