In case anyone hasnt come across this yet, Franks Fields review on poverty

"The Foundation Year: Preventing poor children from becoming poor adults" is some bedtime reading.

 

Its quite long, but you can get an overview by reading the recommendations in the first section.

It's very interesting, we've been unpicking it at work alongside the White Paper - in principle there's a lot I could quite happily agree with.

this looks like a good read. from the little I have dipped into so far I hope the government take note. I think Early years are likly to stay top of the adgenda for a while yet. Beginning to wonder what the eyfs review will being. Less paper work I hope!!!!
