Secret Santa Today!

well....................................guess who had the biggest surprise of her life today???? Preschool christmas party: santa arrives, gives out gifts to children, shuffles round in the bottom of the sack a bit more, then says, 'hohoho, one more present.................it's for ( Narnia)...........I look how i felt, truly flummoxed, as i had packed the bag for him, so I knew there wasn't ( or shouldn't have been!) a gift for me. So, I opened it and was thrilled to get a Bon Jovi dvd, gave a little whoop of surprise and said thank you. THEN.........the door opens, a cake comes in, with candles for me ( Oh blush, I start to sense something is going horribly wrong and I'm going to have to keep smiling in front of all the parents.....)....so, the cake has a photograph of Bon Jovi on it, wuth the message...'are you ready for one wild night with Bon Jovi..............in NYC 5/3/11?'....................right, now I'm REALLY getting edgy, look totally mystified, and am then handed a very large envelope that has inside:Tickets to go see Bon Jovi in New York, at Madison Square Gardens, in March, all expenses paid! Do I love my girls and hubby, who have had this little secret between them for a month?? I truly don't know what I've done to deserve it, but WOWEEEEEEEEEEE

How truly wonderful Narnia, and what a great way to surprise you. Just for a minute i thought you were going to tell us it was from your parents at your setting, ha ha :o [well it has been in the news this week].

Wishing you a magical time. xD

Honestly, we ( staff) were loaded down with an embarrassment of gifts from parents yesterday, I've never known a year like it. People are so generous and it makes you realise that they do appreciate the work and effort that goes in to the job. Many had really thought about what they bought too, one staff member loves marmite, so a mum had bought her a catering size tub of it! I always find it humbling, honestly
