Child Development

Yes, I enjoyed reading this, it certainly challenges tunnel vision and makes complete sense to me.

I've always felt that the most important aspect of being, is to 'just be', whether child or adult, to value the 'I am' rather than having to fit into any checklist. Imagine a world where the people who are now defined as special needs, or disabled were actually deemed the highest of our species, or at least equal to their counterparts who are now deemed as 'able'.

What if the developmental measures were turned upside down, and the ultimate goal was just 'to be'. :o
