Guest
I want to have some bottles in the water tray and paper etc for the children to write messages Does anyone know of a story that includes messages in bottles or have any ideas how to introduce this to the class? I was thinking about putting a bottle in the water for the children to discover then read the message from a mermaid or pirate and the children could write back Does this sound ok? AnonyMouse_19762
Sounds great to me! If from a pirate could it also include a map - x marks the spot sort of thing?
AnonyMouse_25331
A Friend for little bear - by Harry Horse I'm fairly sure this has a message in a bottle but I'm not too sure if it is an intergral part of the story! Will try to have a look tomorrow.
AnonyMouse_1195
Tom and the Island of the Dinosaurs by Ian Beck. Tom finds a bottle on the beach with a message in it from Katy, who needs to rescue some dinosaurs from a volcano.
