Hi, have you tried edible paint? Made with cornflour, water and food colouring, but unlike gloop the cornflour and water are boiled up first. Then the children can get their hands in it or use brushes and it doesnt matter if they eat it! Also we have used jelly and cold custard. Great fun! XX

Slug slime........

Make with a cup of pva glue add food dye then mix in cornflour until you have a slimy consistancy (do this slowly as you dont need as much as you may think!)

This is fun to run through your hands and also will hold a shape for a few minutes if turned out from a mold. use straws to blow bubbles in it makes big bubbles and farting noises!

Have fun..........................

A great deal of fun if it makes farting noises! Our boys like nothing more than toilet humour :o

I used to do what the kids called Sue's gloop.......builders tray, bags of out of date flour (ask parents to look in the back of their cupboards) and we would start with dry four and add more and more water and food colouring till it was runny mess and then add more flour until it became pastry/playdough consistency again and then much easier to clear up and throw in the bin.

spaghetti with washing up liquid in it makes it really slimy
