Guest
Humm I wonder if anyone can help me. We have just had a staff meeting and the topic of planning aired its weary head again. There seems to be this constant need in school through primary's to try and include the FU in whole school planning, thinking that we can fit nicely into the lesson plan box.....another box has been added to the list of learning objectives, learning outcomes, FSP, ECM that is before you put pen to paper and actually say anything about what activity you may be performing to jump through each hoop...we have I can statements but now another has been added to the list...success criteria. has anybody got any thoughts good planning as I'm getting a bit fed up of filling in boxes to have something in...where are my Sundays????? Guest
Hi, logically in the EYFS you would only have success criteria where you have an adult directed activity. I prefer WALT and WILF myself, which perform the same function of learning objective, learning outcomes (we are learning to, what I'm looking for). Could you suggest that you only have to plan for these where you create a specific adult directed activity, perhaps one short activity per day? AnonyMouse_3307
Use the Look listen and note statements approach. Then you can identify the types of behaviours your inputs will be promoting over a period of time. Cx
