Guest
I have just finished reading this book and have to say how fantastic and moving it was. From a subject which I mostly try and avoid it tackles a terrible situation and makes you question your own relationships with children and how children cope with what they think is 'normal' It made me think of child development and how Im always racking my brain for creative activities with children. Jack and his sitation will stay with me for a long time
Helen
Thanks so much for posting your review. I bought it for myself before Christmas, and I haven't plucked up the courage to read it. I will now
AnonyMouse_29641
Nearly finished! Fab! Wanted to recommend it myself. Fantastic, creative parenting in the most difficult of circumstances. Contrasts and comparisons between children who have been brought up with all the benefits 'normal' modern commercialised lifestyle and a desperately 'deprived' early childhood. Also highlights conflict between needs of parents and those of little children. Enjoy and keep on recommending it. Honey
AnonyMouse_64
Thanks, I've added it to my basket in Amazon so the next time I make an order I'll buy it.
