Half Term

It's half term here in Leicester next week so I thought I'd sneak away a bit earlier. I'm off to Dublin's fair city tomorrow to catch up with family and friends........and no, no, no Panders.........there will be no parties at my house while I'm gone!!!!! :(

Hubby and kids are guarding the roost and hopefully will be able to cope for a few days without me. :o

Anyone else got plans?

I know half term comes around at different times throughout the country so whenever it's your turn I hope it's a good one. xD

Hey - we could help them 'cope' if we came up for a party or three! :(

have a super time in Dublin - I'm sure you will! xD

My half-term is going to be 'about me'......well that's the plan anyway :(

I will do just a little pre-school work and like Cait I have some 'other stuff' - village commitments to deal with.......

So my 'to do' list is......

Saturday - visit library - stock up with some good books - I intend to spend a good amount of my week with my feet up and a good book! Hairdressers - colour and cut ....ready for a night on the town with Mr S. - well a night in the local! :(

Sunday - nurse hangover!......hmmm - wonder which of my daughters-in-law would like to see us for lunch

Monday - guess I'd better do some of the aforementioned work

Tuesday - hmmm - another 'me' day!

Wednesday - spend some quality time with my lovely grandson! ;)

Thursday - spend some quality time with my lovely granddaughters!:ph34r:

Friday - well it all breaks down a bit here - I'm training.......but in the evening have a 'girls night out' - woohoo! xD

How's that for a super-duper 'to do' list!

The plan is to write up Observations and get everything sorted for when Ofsted come (somewhen in the next month my guess is). Sort out the office and catch up with housework. Planning for next month.

Hopefully I can stay off the websites/games long enough to be able to do it all. I think the temptation is to stay in bed and have lie ins all week but that's not gonna get me far.

I am very excited as we are moving into our new building!! - taken a long time to get it but it is worth it - some of our bespoke furniture arrived today and it is beyond my wildest dreams. Still having to pinch myself every few minutes to make sure I am not dreaming - so anyone thinking of going for their own building - do it - it is hard work but so worth it!

Have a great break Dublinbay and everyone else too.

Sorry to hear that Bridger ...

We are escaping to Portugal for the week, we tried to go at Xmas but got snowed in at Heathrow!

I could do with some sunshine ...

I am going to do as little as possible - I've had what feels like a really long half term and I'm exhausted. I found out I was pregnant just before the start of term, and trying to be 'normal' when my class want me to be a train, or a bear, or whatever, has been exhausting!

Had our first scan this week which has made me feel more relaxed knowing that it's all ok, and the plan is to catch up on as much missed sleep as possible!

Hope everyone has a lovely week and that there's some good weather for you all to enjoy yourselves :o
