AnonyMouse_8466
hi every one just got an interview date. i have to complete a 250 word essay " How do you expect studying the foundation degree will help you to develop your practice" has any one got any tips. Welcome to the forum, mandy123 and congratulations on making your first post. I think this is highly personal - why did you decide to apply for the Foundation Degree in the first place? Are you looking to strengthen your theoretical knowledge to improve your everyday practice, or maybe you're keen to explore the wider context of your work with children and their families? For me, it was the realisation that there was always so much to learn about early years education and the issues that surround it, and that I wanted to be part of a learning community that would make me reflect on what I thought I already knew, challenge my thinking and generally help me work out what kind of practitioner I wanted to be, based on my core beliefs but taking into account the views and knowlede of others. Foundation Degree, top up year and EYPS later, I'm still a work in progress! Good luck with your interview!
