AnonyMouse_7356 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Hi everyone Can I just ask do you include the children who need to be observed on you planning sheet? I have seen this somewhere and just wondering if anyone else does it too?
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 At the moment we aren't planning to observe at all. All observations are spontaneous. Key Persons know who they've not observed recently and may keep a weather eye out for opportunities, but that's as far as it goes

Guest Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 We have room to include initials if there is something specific we want to watch for, just to remind everyone but we don't routinely put someone down as being of interest in an observation of an activity. We do however specify which children have caused us to plan this activity if relevant, so I guess in a way we are focused on them anyway.

So the key person knows and i know who they are looking at, because of our rota system anf therefore if someone was sick the person covering would be able to continue with key working
