How I 'landed' in my role as a Playroup Leader, I'm not quite sure but I have and have been Leader for 2 years. I started my 'childcare career' as a mum, then general committee, then Officer, then paid assistant after completing my NVQ3 and now Leader - this choice of career is far from what I did life before children! Mostly I love it BUT I really struggle with managing the staff - I have a team of 7 with 5 totally behind me, helpful etc 1 is behind me depending on which way the wind is blowing that day, and the other......well - try as I might I never ever do right by this person (according to her) I feel I need some sort of 'personnel' training has anyone done a course which they could recommend?
