AnonyMouse_19762
One of our little girls brought a sheet of stickers in to pre-school today - she proceeded to stick one on each of the children....... At home-time one of our girls was collected by her grandparents......she rushed off out of the door saying..... "I got this sticker because I was very good and clever in the workshop and I didn't shout out when other people were talking" Hmmm...workshop - what's that all about - we don't have 'workshops' we also don't go in for stickers much - certainly not ones stuck to jumpers etc. The 'I didn't shout out when other people were talking' was really interesting as this is exactly what she does - all the time I was 'tied up' with a parent at the time (although listening as you do to everything else around me!) so no time/opportunity to say "well actually, that's not quite true"...... I am left thinking - oh my goodness she sounded so convincing and plausible what other 'stuff' does she make up! Maybe that's a very poor attitude - perhaps I should just be thinking - wow fantastic use of imagination! AnonyMouse_13453
haha - made me chuckle! We've had very similar explanations of stickers and rewards. One Mum even wrote in the home diary, can you please tell me what she really DID get the sticker for as I've had at least a dozen reasons as she's related the story over the weekend! One of which was 'because I didn't bite anyone today'!!!
