AnonyMouse_15046
I've taken quotes from some of the PDF files and other areas of the EYFS disc for an essay and now I'm stumped as to what the Harvard reference should be. Can anyone help me out please?
AnonyMouse_9650
Hi Upsy Daisy If you have referenced the practice guidance or statutory frameword pdfs whether off the actual docs, cd or web then I have been using these refernces ok. DCSF, 2008a. Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage May 2008 - Setting the Standards for Learning, Development and Care for children from birth to five. Nottingham: DCSF Publications. DCSF, 2008b. Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage May 2008 - Setting the Standards for Learning, Development and Care for children from birth to five. Nottingham: DCSF Publications. Also used this type of reference for the practice cards DCSF, 2008c. Positive Relationships Principles into Practice Card 2.1. Respecting Each Other. Nottingham: DCSF Publications. You might need to check whether your uni requires parenthesis for dates and where they like italics, commas and full stops as they are all so fussy! Hope that helps. AnonyMouse_8282
We were told to reference PDF files the same as books? ...but agree with SueJ, as each uni seems to have it's own method, I got pulled up on using '.' instead of ',' !!!!
